About Me

Hello, my name is Veronica. I’m 36 years old and live just outside Drammen with my partner and our two children. I have a vocational qualification in Sales and Retail and bring 17 years of experience in the retail industry.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in retail with a combination of customer service, daily operations, and extended responsibility for visual presentation, product placement, and store layout. Alongside tasks such as checkout and customer support, much of my role involved creating visually appealing store environments that guide customers intuitively through a physical space. I have also held the role of assistant store manager, gaining experience with daily operations and responsibility in addition to visual and customer-focused work.

In 2022, I decided to bring my visual and customer-focused experience into the digital world and began studying front-end development. I was drawn to the field because it combines design, interaction, and technical problem-solving, allowing me to create visually engaging, user-centered, and functional digital experiences. I chose to study part-time online alongside my full-time job, as it suited my life situation.

Through this portfolio, I share projects from my studies as well as personal projects. I’m currently seeking opportunities within web design and front-end development, where I can combine my technical skills with my strong visual and creative background.
